Dégustation

  • Tasting notes: The nose reveals aromas of white flowers and fresh fruit. The mid-palate is quite rich and full-bodied, with a more acidic finish. This is an easy-drinking wine that is best enjoyed young with a cold starter or a platter of charcuterie. Ageing potential: 4-6 years.
  • Production: approximately 4,500 bottles per year.

  • Location: Parcels located in Maranges, west of the village of Santenay.
  • Exposure: south and south-west

Viticulture

  • Cultivation method: sustainable, without herbicides or insecticides.
  • Harvesting: manual

Vinification

  • Vinification: The grapes are pressed using a pneumatic press, and the lightly settled juice is then placed in barrels, where alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place naturally.
  • Ageing: 100% in oak barrels, including 10% new barrels, for 11 months; then blended in stainless steel vats and bottled after 15 months.
