Dégustation

  • Tasting notes: The nose is characterised by lovely fruitiness, with aromas of pear and white peach. The wine is quite opulent on the palate, with notes of hazelnuts and almonds characterising the finish. This is our most indulgent 1er cru and the easiest to drink young. It is ideal as an aperitif or with cold starters. Ageing potential: 5-7 years.
  • Production: approximately 3,000 bottles per year.

  • Location: Plot located halfway up the hillside near the village.

Viticulture

  • Cultivation method: sustainable, without herbicides or insecticides
  • Harvesting: manual

Vinification

  • Vinification: The grapes are pressed using a pneumatic press, and the lightly settled juice is then placed in barrels where alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place naturally.
  • Ageing: 100% in oak barrels, 20% of new, for 11 months, then blended in stainless steel vats and bottled after 15 months.
